Verenium Corp. Subleases Cambridge Office Space to Enobia Pharma

Verenium Corporation reported Friday that it has subleased its 21,000 square foot executive offices at 55 Cambridge Parkway in Cambridge, Mass. The sublessee is Enobia Pharma, which develops therapies to treat serious genetic bone disorders for which there are no approved treatments.

Jeffrey Moore of Lincoln Property Company in Boston is the leasing representative for the building. More information on 55 Cambridge Parkway can be found via the SCRIBD document below this story.

Verenium said the sublease income will total $0.3 million from June 2011 through March 2012, $0.5 million from April 2012 through March 2013 and $0.6 million from April 2013 through the end of the lease term. The offices had been leased to Verenium under an operating lease with a term through December 2013.

On December 14, Verenium Corporation announced that it would be focusing its operations in San Diego and closed its office in Cambridge. The closure was effective on March 31, 2011.
