Carlson Named Leasing Director at Cummings Properties

Cummings Properties has appointed Lars Carlson as the firm's leasing director, a newly added position at the Woburn-based commercial real estate firm.
A native of Sherborn, Mass., Carlson holds a Bachelor's degree from Hobart College in Geneva, N.Y. He gained his initial experience in commercial real estate at the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, a government agency that works with large companies looking to expand or relocate to the commonwealth.
Carlson accepted to his first leasing position with Maynard-based Wellesley Management, where he spent five years working mainly with technical startups. Subsequently, he served as director of leasing for the Mayo Group, a commercial and residential real estate firm headquartered in South Boston.
Among Cummings Properties' recent endeavors are its Launch coworking space at TradeCenter 128, and its newest Emerging Technology Center in West Cummings Park, which houses incubator laboratories for early stage firms. The sites are both located in Woburn.
Cummings Properties is a development, property management, and construction firm with 10 million square feet of commercial real estate in 10 eastern Massachusetts communities.
